Georgia’s story: Georgia is a special girl with special needs. She has pannus, a congenital condition that has taken some of her sight. She can see shapes and movement and requires daily eye drops to keep the pannus from worsening. Her lack of clear vision doesn’t stop her from loving to play and swim in a baby pool. She wears doggy goggles to protect her eyes in full sunlight. Pannus is not life-threatening, but does require an owner who will continue to take care of her eyes. German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County will pay for Georgia’s ongoing eye medication and eye specialist visits for the rest of her life.
