Breed: Labrador mix
Age: 2 years
Sex: Neutered male
Size: 60 pounds
Oreo’s story: Oreo has a loyal heart and a sharp mind. He’s looking for a patient, experienced adopter who can provide the structure and guidance he needs to thrive. Oreo does best in a low-traffic home with older, considerate children and no small animals. He can be protective and territorial in the home, so ongoing training and consistency will be important for his success. He gets along with dogs his size or larger, but is still learning appropriate play behavior. While Oreo enjoys brief interactions with other dogs, he prefers human companionship and loves having a job to do. He is leash-trained and eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training and enrichment activities. Oreo would be a wonderful fit for someone who understands the value of structure and is looking for a loyal, smart companion to grow with. Oreo is microchipped and fully vaccinated and has been treated for worms.
Adoption/donation cost: $300
