Nashville style fried chicken is all the rage and Dave’s Hot Chicken stores just keep coming.
The latest one opened on Friday, April 15 in Seal Beach. This chain has fans who have been lining up for hot chicken tenders and sliders — ranging in heat level from “No Spice” to “Reaper” — since Dave’s opened its first O.C. location in Fountain Valley in December 2020.

The popular restaurant started when Dave Kopushyan and three friends founded the concept in early 2017 as a parking lot pop-up in Los Angeles. They have since added brick-and-mortar stores in Southern California and plan to grow the franchise to more than 200 restaurants throughout the United States. There are now multiple locations in Orange County with more on the way.
The menu includes hot chicken tenders and sliders, ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper.” House-made Kale Slaw, mac and cheese, crispy fries and cheese fries are offered on the side.
Find it: 12380 Seal Beach Blvd., Seal Beach, 562-286-6844, daveshotchicken.com.
Open: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
