Investigators have identified the type of car a hit-and-run suspect was driving when a 68-year-old woman was fatally struck in Stanton at the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Dale Street on March 4.

The collision occurred about 8:45 p.m. when the woman was crossing in a crosswalk. Investigators believe the vehicle was a 2015-16 dark gray Ford Fusion and may have damage on the driver’s side, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Department news release.
