IRVINE — A motorcyclist died Sunday when the rider’s bike went over the right side of the 241 Toll Road in Irvine.
The crash on the connector road between the northbound 241 and the southbound 133 Toll Road was reported just before 5 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
No information on the gender or age of the rider was immediately available. The person’s name will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The CHP was diverting traffic away from the connector road. The CHP issued a SigAlert because of the fatal crash shortly before 5:30 p.m.
