The fire at 2620 West Chapman Ave., near the 57 Freeway, was reported at 8:27 p.m., said a dispatch supervisor for the Orange Fire Department.

No injuries were reported and no one was present at the building at the time the fire broke out, authorities said.

News video footage from OC Hawk showed an apparent partial roof collapse happened as firefighters attended to the burning structure.

The fire’s cause was not known, officials said.

Nearby West Chapman Avenue was temporarily closed as firefighters battled the blaze, according to authorities.
