Name: Ahmad Hammouri

School: Western

Year: Senior

Noteworthy: He scored 35 points and made six 3-pointers in a 65-49 win over Dos Pueblos in the CIF-SS Division 4A championship game. Hammouri, a 6-3 forward, scored 27 points in the second half. He also had 22 points and 16 rebounds in a 55-33 win over Edgewood in the semifinals. “Offensively he’s a pretty complete player,” said Western coach Marc Harrison. “He can take the ball to the basketball and he can shoot the ball from distance as well. And he’s a super hard worker, too.”
