The Clippers, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors reportedly agreed on a three-team trade on Wednesday that sends Chris Paul to the Raptors and Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 Raptors second-round draft pick and cash to the Nets, ESPN was first to report.

According to reports, the Raptors will not require Chris Paul to report to the team and could still discuss moving him before Thursday’s noon PT NBA trade deadline.

The Clippers clear a roster spot to convert one of their two-way contract players and save $7 million in tax money, Toronto gets out of the luxury tax and Brooklyn adds an asset and cash to cover Agbaji’s salary in the deal.

Paul, 40, and the Clippers abruptly agreed to part ways in early December. One of the greatest players in Clippers history and a future Hall of Famer, Paul posted an Instagram story a little before midnight PT on Dec. 3 acknowledging the sides electing to part ways.

Paul, in his 21st NBA season, was reportedly not on speaking terms with Clippers coach Ty Lue for several weeks before his ouster from the team, ESPN reported.

More to come on this story.
