The 40th annual Los Angeles Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 16, starting at Dodger Stadium, running through the streets of Los Angeles and the cities of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and on to the finish line in Century City.
The finish line for the 26.2 mile race “Stadium to the Stars” ends on Santa Monica Boulevard at Avenue of the Stars in a Los Angeles business district and neighborhood that was once the backlot of film studio 20th Century Studios.
Trivia bit: The “Stadium to the Stars” route was inaugurated on Nov. 7, 2021, having been delayed from March 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns that year.
