ORANGE COUNTY GIRLS SOCCER TOP 10 

(Records through Sunday, Jan. 26)

1. Santa Margarita (11-0-2): The Eagles enter the week in second place in the Trinity League with a 1-0-2 record (five points). They play at Mater Dei on Tuesday night and play host to Orange Lutheran on Thursday.

2. JSerra (11-4-2): The Lions lead the Trinity League with a 2-0-1 record (seven points) after playing top-ranked Santa Margarita to a 1-1 draw last week. JSerra plays host to Orange Lutheran on Tuesday night and plays at Mater De on Thursday night.

3. Newport Harbor (13-2-3): The surging Sailors play host to Los Alamitos on Tuesday night for first place in the Sunset League and the top seed for the league’s new tournament. The No. 1 seed receives a first-round bye in the tournament. Newport Harbor has outscored league foes 13-0.

4. Los Alamitos (11-5-3): The rising Griffins defeated Edison and Marina last week to keep pace with Newport Harbor. Los Alamitos has outscored league opponents 13-1.

5. Huntington Beach (11-3-4): The Oilers can clinch the No. 3 seed for the Sunset League tournament with a win at Corona del Mar on Tuesday. If Huntington Beach wins, Edison would be the No. 4 seed in the tournament and play host to Corona del Mar in the first round Thursday.

6. Orange Lutheran (6-3-1): The Lancers start the week in third place in the Trinity League with a 1-2-0 record. They play at JSerra on Tuesday and at Santa Margarita on Thursday.

7. Mater Dei (8-4-4): After opening the Trinity League with a spirited 1-1 draw at Santa Margarita, the Monarchs are 0-2-0. They enter the week in fourth place in the league with one point at 0-2-1.

8. Edison (10-7-2): The Chargers lost games to Huntington Beach and Los Alamitos last week to slip to 3-3 in the Sunset League.

9. Troy (9-2-1): The Warriors continue to lead the Crestview League after a scoreless draw against El Dorado last week. Troy is 4-0-1 in league with matches against Pacifica and Villa Park this week.

10. Rosary (7-4-3): The Royals take a 4-0-1 record into the Pacific Coast League this week. Rosary plays second-place Laguna Beach and third-place Woodbridge.
