Orange County’s 2024 Voter Guide is here to help you cast your ballot

Get your ballots ready — the 2024 election season is upon us, and we’re here to help you make your decisions.

Our 2024 Voter Guide is here, a one-stop shop where you can find candidates’ platforms, explainers on statewide and local ballot measures, a map showing the nearest ballot drop boxes, our editorial board’s endorsements and more.

It’s an easy way to get to know the people on your ballot who are vying for your vote. Candidates — from the U.S. Senate to Congress, from city councils to school boards, and more — have answered your questions about a variety of topics, ranging from the future of artificial intelligence to border security to how schools can contribute to efforts combatting climate change.

Find the Voter Guide here, and read what candidates have to say about the most pressing issues facing our communities, in their own words, before you choose who is best to represent you.

Click on candidates’ names to see their questionnaires and answers in full. Candidates vying for the same seat received the same questions, and answers were only edited for spelling, grammar, length and, in some instances, to remove offensive language.

You can find explainers on all the local ballot measures in Orange County as well as the statewide propositions. This year, California voters will weigh in on 10 statewide measures, ranging from education funding to minimum wage increases.

There is information about each race and district, such as how long terms last and why you won’t see any Mission Viejo City Council seats up for grabs this year. And for congressional and legislative races, you can find information about the district’s voter makeup.

The Voter Guide is available for all readers and can be shared. Find it online at ocregister.com/voter-guide.
