Isaac Ochoa, Bishop Amat: Ochoa already has nine goals this season and has helped the Lancers to some big wins. He scored the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over area No. 1 Sierra Vista last week. Ochoa also had goals in wins against Baldwin Park 3-2 and St. John Bosco 3-2. The Lancers are 7-3-3 and on a four-game unbeaten streak.

Tyler Small, Servite: He scored a career-high 42 points in a 73-31 nonleague win over Murrieta Mesa. Small, a 6-2 guard, two weeks ago scored 40 points in a win over Long Beach Jordan. Servite (11-1) plays its Trinity League opener Jan. 5 at home against Orange Lutheran.

Ignacio Fonseca, St. John Bosco: The versatile defender led the Braves to the title game of the Laguna Hills Hawks Invitational. He scored a goal to send them to the final and played a pivotal role in four shutout victories. He made a goal-line save with 15 minutes to go and scored on a 35-yard missile in a 1-0 semifinal victory over Laguna Hills.

Jayce Johnson, Wiseburn Da Vinci: In a five-game stretch, Johnson, a guard, averaged 23.2 points as the Wolves went 5-0. In the final of the Dwan Hurt Holiday Classic, he scored 35 points with five rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 78-36 win over View Park Prep. Wiseburn went 4-0 in the tournament.

Ramel Lloyd Jr., Sierra Canyon: The Nebraska-bound wing has played a big role in the Trailblazers’ 13-1 start despite the absence of UCLA-signee Amari Bailey (injured). Lloyd helped lead the Trailblazers at the ‘Iolani Classic in Hawaii by scoring 20, 23 and 20 points, respectively, in the final three games of the tournament, including the final, to earn tournament MVP honors.

Jaden Henley, Colony: Henley averaged a team-high 18.3 points per game and earned Most Valuable Player honors as the Titans captured the title at the San Gabriel Valley Classic. Henley, a 6-foot-7 forward who has signed with Minnesota, scored 22 points and added six rebounds and six assists in the tournament opener. He scored 20 points in the second game and 19 points in the third. Henley capped the tournament with 12 points and nine rebounds in a 56-45 victory over Loyola.
