Noteworthy: He won the shot put and the discus at the Laguna Beach Trophy Invitational meet on Saturday at Laguna Beach High School. Lewis threw the shot put 59 feet, 6.5 inches and the discus 172 feet, 2 inches. The discus mark is the best in Orange County and ninth-best in the state this season. His season-best shot put distance of 60-3 is the top mark in the county this season.
