2. Newport Harbor 7-1 (2)

The Sailors maintained their grip of rival Corona del Mar with a 13th consecutive victory in the series in the third-place match at the South Coast Tournament.

3. Corona del Mar 9-3 (3)

The Sea Kings impressed in reaching the semifinals of the South Coast Tournament, where they gave JSerra its toughest test in a 14-10 loss.

4. Mater Dei 8-4 (4)

The Monarchs placed seventh at the South Coast Tournament after falling to Harvard-Westlake in the quarterfinals.

5. Santa Margarita 5-3 (7)

The Eagles are the top seed for this week’s Villa Park Classic, which starts on Thursday.

6. Huntington Beach 7-4 (5)

The Oilers play host to Laguna Beach in a Surf League opener on Wednesday.

The Breakers fell to the Oilers in the 13th-place match at the South Coast Tournament.

The Knights avenged a loss earlier in week against Los Alamitos by beating the Griffins at the South Coast Tournament.

9. Los Alamitos 4-6 (6)

The Griffins open the Surf League by playing host to Newport Harbor on Wednesday.

10. Orange Lutheran 5-5 (10)

The Lancers bounced back from a first-round loss to Santa Margarita by winning their next four matches to place 17th at the South Coast Tournament.
