A woman was killed when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed in Fullerton on Tuesday.
The solo-vehicle collision was reported just before 4:55 p.m. in the area of Brea Boulevard and Longview Drive, near Hillcrest Park, according to Fullerton Police Department Sgt. Brandon Clyde.
The woman suffered “significant traumatic injuries” and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was withheld pending notification of her next of kin.
A preliminary investigation into the collision revealed the woman was driving southbound on Brea Boulevard when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed over the northbound lanes before colliding with a tree at Longview Drive, Clyde said.
