Huntington Beach’s softball team defeated another unbeaten opponent Saturday behind ace Zoe Prystajko.

The left-hander fired a one-hitter and hit a home run as the Oilers defeated Oaks Christian 8-3 in the finals of the Best of the West Classic in Santa Maria.

In the quarterfinals Friday, Huntington Beach (19-4) defeated previously undefeated Sutter 1-0 behind 18 strikeouts by Prystajko, a junior committed to Stanford.

On Saturday, the Oilers scored the first eight runs before the Lions (21-1-1) received a three-run home run by Lily Knox in the sixth inning.
