Orange County boys basketball’s top performers last week:
Chol Deng, Fairmont Prep, 6-6, Sr., F: He was named tournament MVP of the Diablo Inferno at Mission Viejo High. Deng scored 24 points in the Huskies’ 72-58 win over Fountain Valley in the tournament championship game.
Griffin Haugh, Dana Hills, 6-1, Sr. G: Haugh was named MVP of the Saxon Tournament at Loara. He scored a team-high 14 points in the Dolphins’ 50-46 win over Servite in the tournament championship game.
Dylan Lawson, Sunny Hills, 6-5, Sr., F: He scored 17 points with nine rebounds in the Lancers’ 67-45 win over Garden Grove in the championship game of the Los Amigos Winter Classic.
Vyctorius Miller, Crean Lutheran, 6-6, So., G: Miller scored 18 points with 12 assists in the Saints’ 93-41 win over Victory Christian Academy/Chula Vista. A transfer from St. Anthony, Miller has scored 46 points in his two games with Crean Lutheran.
Mac West, Capistrano Valley Christian, Sr., G: He scored 77 points over three wins for the Eagles. He has scored 21 points or more in all five Capistrano Valley Christian games.
