Excited children were climbing on the equipment before the confetti celebrating the ribbon cutting Thursday, Feb. 9, of a new playground for the Orange County Rescue Mission had even fluttered to the ground.

The playground replaces rundown equipment, providing a new fun place for the several dozen children living at the Village of Hope in Tustin to play outdoors. The In-N-Out Burger Foundation helped fund the construction.
