The Trabuco Hills and Western boys wrestling teams have been seeded No. 1 in their divisions for the CIF Southern Dual Meet Championships.
Brackets were released Thursday for the six boys divisions and the two girls divisions.
Trabuco Hills is the top seed in Division 3. Western is seeded No. 1 in Division 5.
Western was a CIF-SS Division 6 dual-meet runner-up last season after winning the Division 6 championship in 2021.
Cypress is seeded third in boys Division 4. Sonora boys are seeded fourth in Division 5.
In girls wrestling, Laguna Hills is the No. 2 seed in Division 2.
The first and second rounds and the semifinals for the boys and girls dual-meet championships are Saturday.
For boys wrestling, Division 1 is at St. John Bosco, Division 2 is at Villa Park, Division 3 is at San Clemente, Division 4 is at Victory Valley, Division 5 is at Western and Division 6 is at Glenn.
For girls wrestling the early rounds are at Northview for Division 1 and at Bonita for Division 2.
The championship matches will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the school that is ranked highest in the final CIF-SS polls.
