Agua Caliente Casino Spa Rancho Mirage and the city of Rancho Mirage have partnered to host a speakership series that includes several sports stars.

Four-time Stanley Cup champion Wayne Gretzky will be the first speaker on Monday, Jan. 23, followed by NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith on Tuesday, Feb. 21, and will end with boxer Sugar Ray Leonard on March 21. Tickets for Gretzky’s event are $60-$200, and speaker series tickets for Smith and Leonard are $150-$475 via aguacalientecasinos.com.

The first 1,000 people to purchase a series ticket to the speaker series will gain free entrance into the Firebirds vs. San Diego Gulls game on Sunday, Jan. 22, at the new Acrisure Arena in the Greater Palm Springs.

Hockey Night in Canada personality Christine Simpson will moderate the first event with Gretsky. Simpson was among the first all-female crew to broadcast an NHL game between the Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Calgary Flames for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2020. Sibley Scoles, the host of “Raiders: Talk of the Nation” and in-game host for the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, will moderate the events with Smith and Leonard.

The Rancho Mirage casino will host each of the speakers at its entertainment venue, The Show, where next year it will also feature a roster of comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Daniel Tosh and Jay Leno.
