A 40-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition and another man arrested on suspicion of attacking him with a hammer in a Garden Grove business on Tuesday night, Sept. 20, authorities said.
The unprovoked attack occurred in the 13000 block of Garden Grove Boulevard just before 8:50 p.m., Garden Grove Sgt. Mark Lord said.
Officers arrived to find witnesses holding the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident. He was identified as Jesse Bizarro, 36; his city of residence was unclear.
Where on the body the victim was struck was not disclosed. Why the victim was attacked was not known.
