Music and hockey fans will be able to reserve parking in advance of concerts and games at Honda Center in Anaheim starting with the Iron Maiden show on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
The venue has partnered with the ParkMobile app for guests to be able to reserve one of the 3,500 reserved spots ahead of events at the 17,000-capacity venue.
“Ahead of hockey season, we wanted to provide our fans with a safe and easy way to reserve and pay for parking at Honda Center,” Doug Lakeman, vice president, parking and transportation for Honda Center and OCVibe said in a press release. “The guest experience is at the forefront of importance for us, so we look forward to providing an improved arrival and parking experience for them via ParkMobile.”

Users can go to hondacenter.parkmobile.io to quickly search upcoming events at Honda Center and view all of the parking options. They can reserve a space, which can be redeemed at the parking lot the day of the event using a mobile pass or printed permit. They can also use the app on iPhone and Android devices. Pricing for parking will vary based on the event.
ParkMobile is currently being used at several major venues across the country including Soldier Field in Chicago and T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. While paying in advance helps get guests into the venue more quickly, thus easing up traffic on Katella Avenue and surrounding city streets, the move is also in line with the venue going fully cashless. Honda Center is now only accepting cashless payment methods for merchandise, parking, food and beverages onsite. All major credit, debit, and mobile payments are accepted throughout the venue, but cash will no longer be accepted.
