Noteworthy: The Cal State Fullerton-bound Viramontes placed an Orange County-leading fourth in the 800 meters at the CIF State Track and Field Championships in Clovis by finishing in 2 minutes, 12.58 seconds. The CIF-SS Division 1 champion challenged her season-best time of 2:11.33 from CIF-SS Masters.
