Ralph Velasquez homered and drove in five runs in a 12-5 win over Foothill in the Division 1 quarterfinals. The Surf League-champion Oilers will play at home against Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks in the semifinals Tuesday.

4. JSerra (21-10)

Pitching, defense and timely hitting have the Lions in the Division 1 semifinals. They play Tuesday at Villa Park, a team that beat JSerra in the Boras Classic South championship game.

5. Foothill (20-10)

The Crestview League-champion Knights got a one-run win over Santa Margarita in the second round, but were eliminated by Huntington Beach 12-5 in the quarterfinals.

6. Cypress (22-6-2)

The Empire League-champion Centurions got fine pitching from Luke Matlock and Wyatt Rosales to beat Servite in the second round, lost to Villa Park in the quarterfinals in the Division 1 playoffs.

7. Servite (17-12)

The Friars had opportunities but could not exploit them in a 5-2 loss to Cypress in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

8. Santa Margarita (19-11)

The Eagles, who made the Division 1 playoffs as an at-large team, lost 5-4 to Foothill in the second round.

9. Capistrano Valley (17-11-1)

The South Coast League-champion Cougars were out-pitched by JSerra in a 4-2 loss to the Lions in the Division 1 second round.

10. El Dorado (17-13)

The Golden Hawks were eliminated in the Division 1 second round by Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, the team that eliminated Orange Lutheran in the quarterfinals.
