After selling out Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium twice last summer, iconic Mexican band Los Bukis are coming back to the area as they add new dates to their “Una Historia Cantada,” reunion tour.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 6 to see the Latin music group at the approximately 80,000-person capacity Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Aug. 18.
The L.A. show is part of four new tour stops recently announced by the band that include other shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 30, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Aug. 12 and The Gorge Amphitheater in Seattle pm Aug. 26.
Formed in Michoacan, Mexico, in 1976 by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís, the band produced many chart-topping hits including “Tu Carcel,” “A Donde Vayas” and “Como Fui A Enamorarme De Ti.”
The group disbanded in 1996 when lead singer Marco Antonio Solís went on to have a highly successful solo career.
In June 2021 however the band announced it was getting back together after 25 years for the reunion tour, which included a stop at SoFI Stadium on Aug. 27 that quickly sold out, prompting the addition of a second sold-out show the following night.
