Three men in their 20s were killed in a fiery crash on Harbor Boulevard at La Palma Avenue in Anaheim just before 2 a.m. Monday morning, March 28.

Two police officers on patrol witnessed the crash.

“They’re lucky they weren’t hit,” police Sgt. Jacob Gallacher said.

The white 2021 Mercedes was speeding southbound on Harbor when the driver lost control and “went airborne,” he said.

The car hit a wall and broke in half before bursting into flames and shearing a fire hydrant, Gallacher said. One man was ejected.

The officers attempted to save the men, pulling one out of the wreckage and attempting CPR, but all three were pronounced dead at the scene, the sergeant said.
