Taco Bell turns 60

Bristol Farms Newfound Market opened its doors at the Irvine Spectrum last week and it’s not just a place to grab gourmet groceries. It’s also a dining destination with a mini food hall, a full-service pizzeria, a European café and craft cocktails.

Knott’s Berry Farm has brought back its popular Boysenberry Festival in its full berry glory for the first time in three years. The event runs through April 24 at the Buena Park theme park.

Celebrity chef Jet Tila is everywhere. His new cookbook, “101 Thai Dishes You Need to Cook Before You Die,” just came out, and he’s making two appearances in Anaheim. Fans can find him presenting a chef’s demo at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival on April 17 and he’s a headliner at the Illumination Foundation’s Chef’s Table gala on March 27 at the Disneyland Hotel.
