A woman was killed in a crash involving two work trucks in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Laguna Beach on Tuesday, March 3, authorities said.

Officers were called to the store at 31702 Coast Highway, near Third Avenue, just after 10 a.m. and found that a CR&R trash truck had collided with a Belshire Environmental Services work vehicle, police said in a statement.

A woman was found with critical injuries and taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, but she died.

Police said she was a pedestrian.

The circumstances surrounding the crash were not yet released by police. The woman’s identity was withheld by police pending notification of her relatives.

Both work vehicles were servicing the store when the crash occurred, police said.
