Southern California’s Day Trip Festival will return to the waterfront next summer while introducing a new venue to the event.

Insomniac Events announced that the 2026 edition of Day Trip Festival will take place June 27-28 at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach and will debut the Long Beach Amphitheater as an official third stage.

The open-air venue, which is scheduled to open this summer, has a capacity of roughly 11,000 and will be one of the largest waterfront amphitheaters on the West Coast. Located along the harbor with views of the downtown skyline, the amphitheater brings a permanent outdoor music venue to the city’s shoreline district.

The festival, which focuses on house and techno music, has grown steadily since launching as a small Sunday party at the Los Angeles nightclub Academy LA. Over the past several years, it has evolved into one of Southern California’s most recognizable dance music festivals.

Now entering its sixth year, Day Trip has become known for its beachside setting, daytime dance floors and lineups packed with house music talent. Past editions have featured artists such as Dom Dolla, FISHER, John Summit, Gorgon City and BLOND:ISH.

The lineup for the 2026 edition has not yet been announced. Two-day general admission passes and VIP tickets go on sale at noon Friday, March 6 at DayTripFest.com.
