Name: Tessa Russell

School: JSerra

Sport: Flag football

Year: Freshman

Noteworthy: The wide receiver had six catches for 71 yards and one touchdown, and also played cornerback, to help the undefeated Lions defeat Newport Harbor 27-6 in the final of the El Toro tournament. Russell is one of three JSerra freshmen on the 15-and-under U.S. national team for girls flag football.
