Police are searching for a suspect after a man died in an apparent stabbing at an Anaheim apartment complex Monday, Sept. 15.
Officers responded at 5:15 p.m. to the Casa Bonita Apartment Homes at 200 N. Gilbert St., near Lincoln Avenue, where they found a man with traumatic injuries who had lost a significant amount of blood, said Sgt. Matt Sutter with the Anaheim Police Department.
The man, who police believe was in his 50s, was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigators believe the man lived at the complex.
Police haven’t located a suspect, but they believe the killing was a targeted attack and that the suspect and victim knew each other, Sutter said.
Police didn’t immediately disclose a motive for the killing.
