Wyatt Hanoian homered, doubled and drove in seven runs in a 16-0 win over Mater Dei. Gary Morse struck out six over five innings in a 3-1 win over the Monarchs.

Previous ranking: 2

3. Santa Margarita (15-12): The Eagles clinched third place in the Trinity League, and a guaranteed playoff berth in the CIF-SS playoffs by going 2-1 in a league series against Servite to finish 7-8 in league. Hayden George struck out seven Servite batters in his six innings of pitching in the Eagles’ 4-3 win.

Previous ranking: 3

4. Newport Harbor (22-6): The Sailors will finish second in the Sunset League. They swept Marina in a three-game series by scores of 5-4, 4-3 and 10-4 to go 14-4 in league.
