The Rams have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with linebacker Nate Landman, the team announced on Tuesday.

Landman, 26, spent the first three years of his career with the Atlanta Falcons. He had 81 tackles last season, which was spent under head coach Raheem Morris, the Rams’ former defensive coordinator, which should give him some familiarity with the Rams’ defense.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Landman has made some impacts in run defense over the past two seasons. In 2024, he had a missed tackle rate of 10.4%, per Pro Football Focus, and 21 stops in the run game.

He is not a proven coverage man, however, allowing a reception percentage of 92.6% in 2024 and a QB rating of 144.0 when targeted.

The Rams have needed some reinforcements at linebacker this offseason. Christian Rozeboom signed as a free agent with the Carolina Panthers, while Troy Reeder remains on the market. Landman figures to pair with Omar Speights, who took over as a starting inside backer as an undrafted rookie in 2024.
