Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals are hitting the road this summer for a 15-date tour that will wrap up on Sunday, Aug. 24, at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles show will be the group’s sole Southern California stop, with the only other one in the state scheduled for the Fox Theater in Oakland on Saturday, Aug. 23. Tickets for all 15 shows go on sale Friday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. for general admission, with presales beginning Wednesday, Feb. 12, via benharper.com.

The upcoming tour will feature a mix of Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals classics and songs from Harper’s 2023 album, “Wide Open Light,” which featured collaborations with Jack Johnson, Shelby Lynne and Piers Faccini. Grammy-Award-winning musician Harper has racked up a diverse set of collaborations, including John Lee Hooker, Charlie Musselwhite, Ringo Starr, and Keith Richards.

Most recently, he collaborated with pop superstar Harry Styles, contributing his signature guitar work to Styles’ chart-topping album, “Harry’s House.” Harper also joined Styles for 12 nights of performances at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles in 2022. The musician has also produced albums for Mavis Staples, Rickie Lee Jones, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Natalie Maines and Ziggy Marley.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Harper has also worked on screen. He appeared in the first season of the AppleTV+ anthology series “Extrapolations,” in which characters are forced to grapple with the devastating effects of climate change.

He more recently appeared in the new Jeff Buckley documentary, “It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January. The film, directed by Amy Berg, compassionately portrays the life of the late Buckley and his impact on the international music culture of the late 20th century. It features scores and rare live performances while capturing the love, loss, and other life transitions that shaped Buckley.
