Four Orange County teams — Beckman, Brea Olinda, Mater Dei and Santa Margarita — won CIF Southern Section cheer championships this past weekend.

Beckman was the Division 4AA champion, Brea Olinda won the Division 4A championship, Mater Dei won the Division 1A championship and Santa Margarita was champion in Division 1AA.

Several other county teams finished in the top three in their divisions:

• Santa Ana was third in Division 3 Coed;

• Villa Park was second and Trabuco Hills third in 3A;

• Tesoro was second in 2AA;

• El Dorado was second in 1AA;

• Los Alamitos was third in 1A;

• San Clemente was second and Marina third in 4A;

• Santiago was second and Bolsa Grande third in Division 4 Coed.

The CIF-SS cheer championships were held at Martin Lutheran King High in Riverside.
