Freya’s story: Freya was a favorite among staff at a shelter in Downey. That allowed networkers time to put together a plan and save her. She has a loving personality and is “such a sweet and sensitive soul,” her foster mom says. She loves everyone she meets and bonds with them quickly. She’s low-energy and couldn’t be happier than when she is lying next to a new friend. She seems to have lived without experiencing a lot of things, including toys, stairs and walks. But she’s bravely trying them and learning how to be a dog. She doesn’t react to other dogs on walks, but grass is a whole other issue: When she finds some she gets the zoomies! Freya would do best as the only dog.
