One person was in custody after investigators determined a brush fire was set intentionally Sunday near Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.
Crews responded around 12:59 p.m. to the fire in the area of Portola and Rancho parkways, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire grew to 2.81 acres before firefighters extinguished it. The City of Lake Forest said on social media that the blaze burned near Saddleback Church.
Once officials determined that the fire was set intentionally, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department took one person into custody.
No additional details about the person or the case were immediately available on Sunday afternoon.
