GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOP 10

1. Mater Dei (21-3): The Monarchs won the Championship Division of the Durango Fall Classic tournament in Las Vegas.

2. Huntington Beach (22-3): The Oilers were champions of the Classic Division of the Durango Fall Classic.

3. Santa Margarita (14-5): The Eagles beat JSerra in five sets to start their Trinity League portion of the season.

4. Los Alamitos (20-4): The Griffins advanced to the Durango Fall Classic’s Silver Division final in which they lost to Xavier College Prep of Phoenix.

5. JSerra (14-7): The Lions beat Foothill in a nonleague match, lost to Santa Margarita in five sets in a Trinity League opener.

6. Newport Harbor (15-6): The Sailors started Sunset League play by beating Edison in four sets.

7. San Juan Hills (12-3): The Stallions defeated Dana Hills in four sets in a South Coast League opener.

8. Aliso Niguel (15-3): The Wolverines beat Trabuco Hills and San Clemente to start South Coast League action.

9. Orange Lutheran (20-9): The Lancers lost to Mater Dei in a Trinity League match, beat Capistrano Valley Christian in nonleague play.

10.Trabuco Hills (7-10): The Mustangs beat Dana Hills, lost toAliso Niguel in South Coast League matches.
