Worship early with Canyon Hill Presbyterian for Easter
Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church begins Easter Sunday with two early morning worship services in the outdoor amphitheater at Oak Canyon Nature Center, starting with a 6:30 a.m. sunrise service.
An 8 a.m. contemporary service will follow. All worshippers are welcome to both.
Worship in the beautiful and serene outdoor environment among the impressive oak trees and softly flowing streams that give an extra tranquility to the Easter season. Worshippers for the early services are encouraged to bring along coffee or hot chocolate, a blanket and dress warm and casual for the outside weather. Worshippers may also bring their own chair, if preferred, rather than sit in the amphitheater’s bench seating.
A traditional worship service is also scheduled for 10 a.m., in the church Sanctuary. Music includes Chancel Choir, brass ensemble and Godsend. All worshippers are welcome.
Services are led by the Rev. Melissa Smith and Associate Pastor Matt Moncrief. For additional information, visit the church website at www.canyonhillspc.org.
