The road to a third consecutive MLS Cup appearance for the Los Angeles Football Club begins at home, Major League Soccer revealed Wednesday.

BMO Stadium hosts LAFC’s upcoming 34-match regular-season opener Feb. 24, featuring a midday nationally televised divisional contest against the Seattle Sounders.

The nine-month regular season concludes Oct. 19, when the San Jose Earthquakes visit BMO Stadium on Decision Day.

Kicking off the club’s seventh season against the Sounders, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Seattle, LAFC faces each Western Conference foe at least twice.

The Sounders bowed out of the recently concluded postseason to the Black & Gold in a Western Conference semifinal match at Lumen Field. They face off there again July 20.

Meanwhile, the Earthquakes and the Galaxy have three dates apiece against LAFC.

As was the case last year, they reserved stadiums for the California showdowns.

After setting the all-time MLS attendance record with an announced crowd of 82,110 on July 4 at the Rose Bowl, another supersized El Trafico is set to occur in Pasadena on Independence Day.

The local rivals sandwich those festivities with games at BMO Stadium on April 6, and Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson on Sept. 14.

Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara is the site of a May 4 match with the Earthquakes. In addition to their Decision Day meeting, the sides play at BMO Stadium on June 22.

LAFC tangles with the Eastern Conference a half-dozen times in 2024, including an MLS Cup rematch against the league champion Columbus Crew (BMO Stadium, July 13) and a trip to defending Supporters’ Shield winners FC Cincinnati on Sept. 25.

Along with the away day in Ohio, LAFC travels to Atlanta (May 25) and Orlando (June 15). Nashville (March 23) and the New York Red Bulls (April 20) round out the interconference action at BMO Stadium.

All but seven of LAFC’s 34 league games are scheduled for Saturdays, including the club’s first 12 matches prior to a midweek trip to reigning Western Conference regular-season winner St. Louis City on May 15.
