Two football players — Lakewood’s Tyree McCowen and Calabasas’ Aaron Butler — are the Southern California News Group’s High School Boys Co-Athletes of the Week for Aug. 21-26 after they each received 26.67% of the vote at the 11 p.m. deadline Thursday.
Trabuco Hills’ Ryan Luce (football) finished third.
