As Southern California feels the sweltering heat waves of the summer, more residents will be looking to find ways to cool off and what better way than the resort-style casino pools.

Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland is running its Summer Sundaze promotion, allowing non-hotel staying visitors to reserve time on the casino’s lavish pool deck from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sundays through September 30. Reservations for daybeds can be made by calling the Serrano Spa at 909-686-7097. Guests must be 21-and-older.

Since it first opened, the pool area hasn’t been available for non-hotel staying guests. The Highland property unveiled the pool deck housed within its 17-story hotel tower in December 2021, which was part of the $760 million expansion that started in 2018.

The pool deck features two pools, two Jacuzzis and a giant LED television where sporting events are broadcast. It can seat up to 390 people, including the seating offered on daybeds, loungers, Helix Bar seating and the Radiance Café, where food and drinks can be purchased poolside. In addition to its regular menu, the Radiance Café offers a weekend brunch that includes unlimited mimosas and a bloody Mary and Michelada station.
