Cheers wine lovers! A rosé soirée is coming to Calabasas.
Rosé Day Los Angeles, a single-day fancy picnic in celebration of popular pink wine, is returning to King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas on Saturday, June 24.
More than 3,000 people are expected to attend the 1-8 p.m. event that will include an open bar pouring glasses of rosé wines, champagne, spirits as well as cocktails and mocktails.
The drinking comes with live music, too, with DJ performances by Guy Gerber, DJ Ruckus and Zen Freeman.
There will also be food for sale via food trucks that were curated by Marc Forgione, who competed on the Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef” in 2010. According to a press release, the food trucks will be serving some of Forgione’s dishes, which are meant to pair with rosé drinks while Shucks Oyster Company will be providing oysters, caviar and lobster rolls.
For those who want more than wine, there will be a Rosé Beer Garden where patrons can buy rosé beer, rosé cider, plus a Dos Hombres Mezcal Bar where “Breaking Bad,” actor Aaron Paul is scheduled to make a guest appearance.
If you have a sweet tooth, there’s the Frozé Zone, which will be selling with frozen rosé treats.
And because this is a fancy picnic, there is a dress code, with summer chic attire, pastel colors or summer whites strongly encouraged.
