Westminster police were searching for two suspects who walked into a T-Mobile store, stole cellphones and Apple watches and then fled in a vehicle Wednesday night, Jan. 18, authorities said.
About 6:35 p.m., the men walked into the store, in the 6700 block of Westminster Boulevard, and one of them started talking with an employee, Cmdr. Kevin MacCormick said.
“Then they just started grabbing stuff,” MacCormick said.
The employees estimated about $15,000 in items were stolen from the sales floor, MacCormick said.
No injuries were reported.
