Orange County Soccer Club announced the addition of defender Andrew Fox on a multi-year contract Wednesday.

Fox, 29, joins OCSC from El Paso Locomotive FC, where he had spent the previous four seasons.

“I am delighted to be an Orange County player,” Fox said in a statement. “I look forward to getting started and am committed to helping the club succeed both on and off the pitch.”

Fox, who is from Huntingdon, England, has made 86 appearances with El Paso, scoring six goals and adding three assists. He’s also had time with Peterborough United, Stevenage FC and Grimsby Town FC and AFC Eskilstuna in Sweden.

Fox can play outside back and center back.

“We are delighted to bring Andrew Fox, a first-class professional, to Orange County,” said Oliver Wyss, Orange County SC President of Soccer Operations. “His overall quality and experience in this league will have an immediate impact on our team on and off the field.”

Fox played college soccer at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
