Anaheim briefs: Planning Christmas brunch for the community

Rent Computer Hardware You Need, When You Need It

For 15 years, K&A Cafe and Catering has held a toy giveaway and community brunch for the holidays and the event returns again this year on Dec. 24 on West Center Street Promenade in downtown Anaheim.

There will be a brunch to feed families and anyone who might need some holiday cheer.

In addition to food, there will be activities for families, entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus with gifts. The brunch will last from 9 a.m. to noon.

There are a variety of ways to help out.

Unwrapped toys as well as gifts geared toward tweens and teens can be donated through Dec. 18 at the K & A Café at 201 West Center Street Promenade.

Two wrapping events are scheduled. One is being organized with Cops4Kids from 3 to 9 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Anaheim Police Department, 425 S. Harbor Blvd. The other is planned with Providence Shared Services from 8 a.m. noon on Dec. 17 in front of The Good Food Hall, 200 W. Center St Promenade.
