Orange County communities paused Friday to pay tribute to the veterans living among their residents who served our country, sharing words of thanks throughout the day.
Veterans Day events here hosted from one end of the county to the other.
In Fullerton, cheering residents lined the street for a parade of veterans accompanied by local ROTC units. At the El Toro Memorial Park in Lake Forest, those gathered learned of service from a World War II pilot, while in Dana Point, community members gathered at a memorial overlooking the ocean as four F-16 fighter jets flew overhead in tribute.
