Name: Makenzie McRae

School: Huntington Beach

Sport: Cross Country

Year: Junior

Noteworthy: McRae won the Division 1 race for juniors at the Laguna Hills Invitational in 17 minutes, 22.8 seconds, the fastest girls time of the day, to continue her strong start to the season. “She didn’t back down at the hills and continued to push herself the whole course,” Oilers coach Kareen Shackelford said of McRae, who also won at the Fastback Invitational
