The competitors were fierce during practice Monday … fiercely cute.
The 25th annual Wienerschnitzel Weiner Nationals hosted a practice day and media preview on Monday, July 11, at the Los Alamitos Race Course ahead of Saturday’s main event.
Throughout the morning the adorable athletes got familiar with the course, which they will seek to dominate this weekend to win the bragging rights as the “Fastest Wiener in the West.”
Admission to the races on Saturday is $3; prelims will be at 6:30 p.m. and the championship race at 9:15 p.m.. Proceeds will benefit the Seal Beach Animal Care Center.
