A driver crashed into another car and then struck the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Orange on Sunday afternoon.
The collision occurred shortly after 4 p.m. in the 100 block of South Tustin Street near East Chapman Avenue, Orange Police Sgt. Phil McMullin said.
An apparently inattentive driver traveling southbound on Tustin rear-ended another vehicle that was slowing down to make a right turn into the parking lot for the Salvation Army store, McMullin said. The vehicle that caused the collision then veered into the actual Salvation Army building, the sergeant added.
The collision did not result in any injuries or cause any major structural damage, McMullin said. A photo posted on Google images late Sunday appeared to show a pickup truck inside the business after apparently going through a display window.
No arrests were reported. Investigators do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
